"I had so much fun during my time working here, and like any job it can get stressful from time to time. But the team is amazing, and they always figure out a way to get through things together. Management and pay are the best parts of this job, the owner and manager do everything they can to make sure every staff member feels safe. This is probably the best job I've ever had."
"The kennel tech team is very knowledgeable about their social room dogs and have a high focus on communication and consistency. You are given many opportunities to ask questions about their process and they have their rules laid out to be as clear and concise as possible. They teach you how to control the room, how to manage your time effectively and value safety above all else. A dog fight has not happened here for years, because of their dedication to safety and communication."
"Being a dog trainer here was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The amount that I learned working here was staggering, with incredibly supportive staff and management who are more than happy to lend an ear to answer all your questions. There were always opportunities to make more money, and management always took my concerns to heart and worked with me the best they could. I truly can't say enough good things about this company!"
Sage worked here, left for a while, and came back. Here she is on how the team helps each other.
Watching shy, nervous dogs grow into the best dogs they can be. In her own words.
First, we are a school, not a kennel. Dogs come here to learn. Our groups are small and calm, and we average less than one dog fight a year. You spend your day training dogs, not refereeing them.
Second, you learn a real skill. Every tech learns dog training on the job from our trainers. There is a clear path to trainer, and raises along the way. The path is open to everyone.
Third, the team has your back. The on-call shift covers for you when life happens, and management listens when you speak up and wants you to grow. Our staff call themselves Emotional Support Humans. It's on the back of every shirt.

What we look for is simple. You show up. You care. You are not scared of a messy kennel. You want to learn. If you have a dog, foster, or volunteer with animals, tell us.
One thing to know before you apply: we use training tools (e-collars, prong collars, and others) the way we teach, with every dog. If that is a hard no for you, this is not the right job.
